 What is Chennai without the Marina Beach ? Just another Metropolitan City. I love this place I call home because this coastal region in particular. Many of us who grew up in Chennai have several fond memories associated with the Beach. And the main part of the Marina is quite a tourist spot...but the secluded bits and fragments of the beach found beside the east coast road(ECR), that's the real deal for nature lovers. If you're lucky, you might even witness the Olive Ridleys coming to nest in these places every year.
