Reliving the Rain

Chennai has always enjoyed abundance of rain during the monsoon time. Although this year's monsoon was itself a lot ERRATIC, It did make me reminisce about the monsoons that happened five years back. Those were pleasant times indeed. 

The heavy rains meant school holidays for children, more family time indoors and some hot, satisfying snacks in the evening time. 

I usually go upstairs to our terrace to get glimpses of the effect of the rains on the living organisms all around. 

And, the fascination with nature and wildlife continues to grow as such.

If a major metropolitan city could house such blissful sights, I wonder how the grandeur of the wilderness of a forest would turn out to be during the rainy season. So, lets make it a point to find out and explore further into the urban wild !
